Robots can be used in different contexts related to entertainment. We have developed robot actors, playing robots, robots for exhibitions. We have explored a wide range of robot shapes, materials and approaches, in many cases integrating typical robotic technology (SLAM, computer vision) with experiences mutuated from animation, puppeteering, theatre, and dance. A key point in entertainment is engaging people and making them enjoy a memorable experience.
