PhD Student —
Mirko Usuelli is a PhD candidate at Politecnico di Milano working on agricultural perception in robotics for UGVs. His research focuses on SLAM, 3D Gaussian Splatting, Sensor Fusion, Computer Vision and 4D scene understanding for robotics and artificial intelligence. He holds both a BSc and MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and is a member of the AIRLab. He was awarded the AgTEx Doctoral Thesis Prize in 2024.
